Mr. Noor-ul-Amin Mangal DCO Faisalabad and Mr. Tariq Nazir DSO organized a National Basketball Championship on 9th October 2015. Govt. Islamia College for Women got the honour of being declared as a venue for holding this stupendous championship in which notable national level teams of Army, WAPDA, HEC and of various colleges and universities from all around the country took part WAPDAand HEC qualified for the final.
