The Department of Computer Science, Government Islamia Graduate College for Women, Eidgah Road, Faisalabad, successfully organized the Final Year Project Exhibition 2026 on 19 June 2026. The exhibition provided an excellent platform for final-year students to present their innovative projects and demonstrate the practical skills and knowledge gained through project-based learning.
The event was honored by the presence of worthy Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Syed Ansar Azhar, DPI Colleges, Punjab. The exhibition was conducted under the leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. Naheed Qadir and Vice Principal Mrs. Shabnam Noor. Dr. Fakeeha Fatima, Head of the Department of Computer Science, welcomed the guests and highlighted the department's achievements, academic excellence, internship opportunities, scholarships, and the success of graduates in various professional fields.
During the event, Mrs. Noreen Shazia, Sports Incharge, shared the college's remarkable achievements in sports throughout the academic year and appreciated the outstanding performance of students in various competitions.
Students showcased a wide range of final year projects reflecting creativity, innovation, and problem-solving abilities. The guests and faculty members highly appreciated the efforts and presentations of the students.
The exhibition concluded on a positive note, reaffirming the institution's commitment to quality education, practical learning, and the development of skilled and confident graduates prepared to contribute to society and the digital economy.
The exhibition concluded with an award distribution ceremony honoring outstanding teachers nominated by the Higher Education Department (HED), Punjab. A commemorative shield and a copy of the Sarosh College Magazine were also presented to the worthy Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Syed Ansar Azhar, DPI Colleges, Punjab, as tokens of remembrance.
